GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE AND TYPICAL EXCLUSIONS
Exchange Rates
Our price is submitted subject to exchange rate variation. The base reference shall be that published by National Bank on the date of our quotation. Freight is ex the suppliers premises. All freight costs and related charges for internationally sourced products
Freight
If the products are not a normal stock line by a wholesaler in New Zealand. All freight and related charges for internationally sourced products will be charged with a 10% loading.
Validity
This quotation is valid for a period of thirty days.
Payment
This quotation is subject to our normal credit criteria and credit application form being completed and processed on acceptance, assuming that this has not been completed previously. Payment is due 14 days following the date of invoice, which will be issued immediately on completion of the installation. Should the installation process be more than 1 calendar month, Access Security Limited reserve the right to submit monthly progress claims for work undertaken and materials provided to the project. Payment of progress claims is required under the same terms and conditions as our normal credit criteria, noted above.
Warranty
All equipment supplied as part of this contract is guaranteed for 12 months from date of installation. Installer codes remain the property of Access Security Limited during the warranty period. If another security provider is instructed to attend to the system all warranty will be null and void from that date forward.
Electric Locks
Where electric locks are proposed, they will fully comply with the current building code for means of escape from fire.
Wiring
All wiring will be carried out in a neat and tradesman like manner. Whilst every care will be taken in the execution of this work, no allowance has been made for making good or redecorating.
Working Hours
This quotation is based on the project being implemented during normal working hours of 08.00 to 17.00. No allowance has been made for working outside these hours or denoted public holidays.
Service
Access Security Limited operates a 24-hour, 7-day a week call out service.
Builders Work
The work excludes any builders work, door closers, door furniture, door hardware or fitting of locks, or lock-smith services that may be required to complete this project. Our quotation assumes that the door and frames are of adequate strength and construction for the direct mounting and performance requirements of the locks specified.
Lift Interface Work
The work excludes any lift company work, Trailing cables, Lift Interfacing to secure / unlock the floors, Destination reporting if required. Drilling or mounting of the equipment within the lift cars, Making good of the existing holes.
Alarm Monitoring
Installation and rental of the telephone line or lines for any alarm monitoring equipment and purpose. The initial and ongoing alarm monitoring fees are the client’s responsibility.
Retention
Access Security Limited does not accept the imposition of retention’s on this project.
Liquidated Damages
Access Security Limited does not accept the imposition of liquidated damages on this project. Access Security Limited holds $5,000,000 (Five Million Dollar) public liability insurance policy. This can be upgraded to $10,000,000.00 (Ten Million Dollar) if required.
General Exclusions
All civil works, existing communications cabling, existing equipment, existing security cabling, faults due to communication failure, malicious damage, chasing of walls, casting of conduits and boxes, 230 volt connections, telephone and/or monitoring company costs are excluded from this contract of sale.
Acts of God including but not limited to lightning strike, earthquake and flood, theft of equipment and /or cabling, lockouts or strikes, down time by the client, civil unrest.
